Multiple Intelligences



Multiple Intelligences

Through the recognition of Multiple Intelligences, we can study the strengths / weaknesses of the child and give them the opportunity to learn through strengths.
Objectives: children have the opportunity to explore the world, working with their own skills and develop their own abilities.
1.      Linguistic Intelligence
Able to read, understand what is read.
Being able to listen carefully and respond in a verbal communication.
    Capable of imitating sounds, learn a foreign language, able to read other people's work.
 Able to write and speak effectively. jurnalism interested in the work, arguing, clever convey a story or make improvements to the paper.
    Being able to learn through listening, reading, writing and through discussion, or debate.
Sensitive to the meaning of the word, order, rhythm and intonation of the spoken word.
    Has an extensive vocabulary, like poetry, and word games.

Profession: librarians, editors, translators, journalists, legal assistants, lawyers, secretary, teacher, orator, radio host / TV, and so on.

2. Intelligence Logic – Mathematics
 Know and understand the concept of number, time and causality principle.
    Being able to observe objects and understand the function of the object.
    Good at solving problems that require logical thinking.
    Enjoy the work related to calculus, computer programming, research methods.
    Thinking mathematically by gathering evidence, making hypotheses, formulate and construct a strong argument.
 Interested in a career in technology, machinery, engineering, accounting, and law.
Using abstract symbols to explain the concepts and concrete objects.

Profession: auditors, accountants, scientists, statisticians, analytical / computer programmers, economists, engineers, teachers science / physics, and so on.

2.      Intrapersonal Intelligence
Know yourself and the emotions of others, and be able to channel their thoughts and feelings.
Motivated in the pursuit of life goals.
Ability to work independently, develop sustainable learning ability and want to improve themselves.
 Develop a good self-concept.
Interested as a counselor, coach, philosopher, psychologist or spiritual path.
 Interested in the meaning of life, purpose of life and its relevance to current circumstances.
 Being able to explore / understand the complexity and the human condition.

Profession: psychologists, scholars, therapists, counselors, technology specialists, program planners, entrepreneurs, and so on.

3.      Interpersonal Intelligence
 Have a good interaction with others, social relationships clever.
Being able to feel the feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and expectations of others.
Having the ability to understand others and communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally.
Able to adapt to different environments and groups, capable of receiving feedback given to others, and able to cooperate with others.
 Being able to empathize and try to understand other people.
Want to see other points of view.
Creating and maintaining synergy.
Profession: administrators, managers, principals, employees of the personnel / public relations, mediator, sociologists, anthropologists, psychologists, salespeople, social director, CEO, and so on.

4.      Musical Intelligence
Liked a lot of the musical instruments and always excited to play a musical instrument.
Easy to remember the lyrics of the song and sensitive to noises.
 Understand the nuances and emotions contained in a song.
Glad to collect songs, either CD, tape, or song lyrics.
Able to create musical compositions.
Glad improvisation and playing with sound.
 Like and be able to sing.
 Interested to go and pursue music, either as a singer or a musician.
Able to analyze / criticize the music.
Profession: DJ, musician, instrument maker, artisan stem piano, music therapists, songwriter, music studio engineer, orchestra conductor, singer, teacher of music, song writer, and so on.

5.      Intelligence Visual – Spatial
Glad doodling, drawing, painting and sculpture.
Enjoy learning with graphs, maps, diagrams, or other visual aids.
 Rich in fantasy, imagination and creative.
Love the posters, pictures, films and other visual presentations.
Knows how to play puzzles, mazes and other straightforward tasks related to manipulation.
Learning by observing, seeing, recognizing faces, objects, shapes, and colors.
Using visual aids to help the process of remembering.
Professions: engineers, surveyors, architects, city planners, graphic artists, interior designers, photographers, art teachers, pilots, sculptors, and so on.

6.      Kinesthetic Intelligence – Physical
Intelligence is related to the ability to use our bodies skilfully to express ideas, thoughts, feelings, and able to work well in handling objects.
 Having control on the movement of balance, agility, and elegance in motion.
Liked a real learning experience as field trips, role play, games that use physical.
Happy dance, sport and understand healthy living.
Love touching, holding or playing with what is being studied.
Like to learn by engaging directly, strong memory of what is experienced or seen.

Profession: physical therapists, surgeons, dancers, actors, models, expert mechanics / mechanics, builders, craftsmen, tailors, choreographer, professional athletes, and so on.

7.      Naturalist Intelligence
Like to observe, identify, interact, and concerned with natural objects, plants or animals.
 Enthusiastic about the natural environment and human environment.
 Being able to recognize patterns among species.
Happy career in the field of biology, ecology, chemistry, or botany.
 Glad to preserve the plants, animals.
Like using a telescope, computer, binoculars, microscopes to study an organism.
Glad to study the life cycles of flora and fauna.
 Love to do outdoor activities, such as mountain climbing, scuba diving (diving).

Profession: veterinarians, botanists, biologists, mountaineer, environmental organization committee, collector fauna / flora, keeper of zoology museum / botanical and zoo, and so on.
We are all different because we all have different combinations of intelligence. When we are able to recognize it, I guess we'll have at least a good opportunity to address the problems we face in the world.
